The next meeting of the Vienna Wireless Society will be this Friday, September 10, at 7:30 pm, in the Lecture Hall of Oakton High School at 2900 Sutton Road. The program will isAUCTION FRIDAY at VWS. If you have some *quality* leftovers that you think would look great in someone else’s shack, please consider donating them to the cause. All proceeds go to the club.

The next meeting of the VWS will be held this coming Friday night, July 23rd. The meeting will be held in the Lecture Hall of the Oakton HS. The evenings program will be projects that club members had to use solder. It can be anything,as long as you smell solder, it's good to bring in!

The next meeting of the VWS will be held this coming Friday night, July 9th. The meeting will be held in the Lecture Hall of the Oakton HS. The meeting topic will be a video on the Navajo Code Talkers.

Join the VWS for the ARRL Field Day Saturday and Sunday. We are at Burke Lake park in Fairfax. The event starts at 2 PM today and runs for 24 hours. Come on out and get on the air!
 
Next Meeting - Friday June 25, 2010

There will not be a formal meeting at our normal location, instead all members are encouraged to gather at our Field Day site at Burke Lake Park (south of Fairfax City on Route 123) anytime after 4 pm or so. Lend a hand in the start of the set up phase. Usually this means trying to get a few ropes shot into the trees before dark. And yes, food will be served.
